چکیده
Fruit size is a commercially valuable trait that determined by the extent of fruit growth. In apple, (Malus × domestica Borkh.), early growth facilitated intensive cell production, but mechanisms regulating these processes are not well understood. this study, members five gene families involved in regulation were identified and evaluated apple: AUXIN-REGULATED GENE INVOLVED IN ORGAN SIZE (ARGOS); CELL NUMBER REGULATOR (CNR); GROWTH REGULATING FACTOR (GRF); GRF INTERACTING (GIF); KLUH. MdARGOS1 MdARGOS2 transcript abundance was higher during also enhanced up to 18-fold under conditions reduced production flower development, indicating their products play complex roles development. MdCNR20a MdCNR20b decreased increased transition from expansion. negatively correlated with relative rate (RCPR; ρ = - 0.82; P 0.002), response shading, lower load, it's product regulates Transcript MdGRF11 MdGRF16 greater production-mediated growth, cortex than pith. MdGIF3 cortex, load conditions, strongly RCPR (ρ 0.93; < 0.0001). Further, it 0.87 0.89, respectively; 0.0001), GRF11/16-GIF3 module co-regulated spatio-temporal MdKLUH1 low consistent role Together, study demonstrates coordinated control multiple regulatory components, identifies candidates for functional characterization, provides potential tools enhancing apple fruit.

Triterpenes and Phenolic Compounds in Apple Fruit (Malus domestica Borkh.)
Apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.), a popular and widely cultivated fruit world-wide, contains bioactive triterpenes and phenolic compounds with potentially valuable pharmacological functions. This thesis investigated the effects of pre-harvest and postharvest factors on concentrations of these bioactive compounds in apples. It also studied the effect of ozone treatment, before or during storage,...
متن کاملImpacts of plant growth regulators and culture media on in vitro propagation of three apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) rootstocks
Apple is one of the most important temperate-zone fruit trees in the world. Micropropagation of apple scion and rootstocks is an important method of rapid production of healthy and disease-free plants. In this research, in vitro propagation of three apple roottocks including Azayesh-Esfahan, Morabbaee-Mashhad and M9 was investigated. Shoot proliferation carried out in two basal media (MS and WP...
متن کاملExpression profiling of cell cycle genes reveals key facilitators of cell production during carpel development, fruit set, and fruit growth in apple (Malus×domestica Borkh.)
Cell production is an essential facilitator of fruit growth and development. Cell production during carpel/floral-tube growth, fruit set, and fruit growth, and its regulation by cell cycle genes were investigated in apple (Malus×domestica Borkh.). Cell production was inhibited during late carpel/floral-tube development, resulting in growth arrest before bloom. Fruit set re-activated cell produc...
متن کاملSpatial development of transport structures in apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.) fruit
The void network and vascular system are important pathways for the transport of gases, water and solutes in apple fruit (Malus × domestica Borkh). Here we used X-ray micro-tomography at various spatial resolutions to investigate the growth of these transport structures in 3D during fruit development of "Jonagold" apple. The size of the void space and porosity in the cortex tissue increased con...
متن کاملGenomic Selection for Fruit Quality Traits in Apple (Malus×domestica Borkh.)
The genome sequence of apple (Malus×domestica Borkh.) was published more than a year ago, which helped develop an 8K SNP chip to assist in implementing genomic selection (GS). In apple breeding programmes, GS can be used to obtain genomic breeding values (GEBV) for choosing next-generation parents or selections for further testing as potential commercial cultivars at a very early stage. Thus GS...
